About our Speaker

Iris Huisman is a researcher in the field of Animal Farming Systems at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Her research focuses on sustainable dairying, with a specific interest in animal welfare and greenhouse gas emissions. During her talk, she will provide an introduction into the dairy industry in the Netherlands, including the challenges the sector faces. She will subsequently provide insights into one of the research projects she is involved in: Low Carbon Dairy.
